Fortuitous Witness, Mexico, 2025.
Fortuitous Witness focuses on those moments that, although they make up the bulk of our lives, remain absent from the stories we tell about ourselves. The series concentrates on ordinary situations that quietly occupy most of our time. Rendered in bold color, these moments resist being erased from memory and regain a presence that memory tends to take from them. Each photograph isolates one of these fragments of daily life. The people who appear in them are deliberately anonymous; their identity fades in favor of the situation they are experiencing, leaving the viewer free to recognize in the image an experience of their own. A discreet witness accompanies each of these scenes. They are neither the subject nor the narrator. They simply share a moment that, without their gaze — and without the viewer’s — would likely have gone unnoticed. Through Fortuitous Witness, photography becomes less a way to preserve the past than a means of paying attention to what composes it.

Nouveau Chapitre (New Chapter), Mexico, 2022.
During her life, the woman goes through different trials. Some are visible from the outside and others are invisible to others’ eyes. Either way, it can be difficult to feel good physically, mentally, and to love a body that seems foreign to you. This series evokes the search for a new sensuality and complete well-being. Colors and movements, getting out of the darkness, letting go of all frustrations. It is a "New Chapter" where we learn to love and rediscover ourselves.
Finalist, Grand Prix Picto de la Photographie de Mode, Paris, 2022.
Honorable mention, BIFA Budapest Photo Awards, Budapest, 2022.
Overlay, New Zealand, 2015 remastered 2020.
Overlay is a series of self-portraits, that implies an intimate and solitary inner search for an identity. These are representing some cultures and countries I have been close to or lived in that have reshaped me and made me who I am. They have all left an impression on me, that has become part of the many layers of my bodily experiences. Covering my body with paint to embrace these layers, enabled me in some way to create new beings.
As this series is about my inner self, it was important that the creation and realization were entirely produced by me.
Nominee, The Fine Art Photography Awards, International, 2021.
Exhibited at Unitec (2015), in Takutai Square (projection on building, 2015) and in the McLeavey Gallery (2021) in New Zealand.
