Marie is a conceptual photographer born in 1992 in New Caledonia. She currently lives in Mexico.
Her work is rooted in a studio-based photographic practice, shaped by an existential reflection that stages the human body and familiar situations revealing moments of transition, transformation, and becoming.
Her images are crafted with particular attention to detail and structure, deliberately reducing the superfluous in order to preserve the essential. This formal discipline serves an artistic inquiry into memory, experience, and perception.
Marie was a finalist for Picto Photo de Mode (Paris) in 2022 and 2026. She was awarded a bronze medal and three honorable mentions from BIFA in 2022. She received three nominations from the Fine Art Photography Awards one in 2026, and two in 2021, and two honorable mentions from IPA in 2020. She was awarded the "Prix du Public" for Le Tremplin de la Création in 2014.
Marie also participated in several exhibitions between 2012 and 2021 in New Caledonia, New Zealand, France, and Mexico and was published in "Shutter Magazine", "El Correo", "Endémic" and "Les Nouvelles Calédoniennes".
